Hearing Matters offers a private ENT nurse-led earwax removal service. The clinical ear care team at Hearing Matters is led by specialist ENT nurse Melanie Jackson, who has more than 20 years of experience in the field. This enables us to offer a wide range of specialist aural care services including: 

• Wax removal by irrigation, microsuction and instrumentation

• Private referrals to an ENT surgeon where appropriate

All of our wax removal clinics feature surgical loupes, allowing us to assess our patient’s ear canals and ear drums pre and post-treatment. We accept referrals for patients with blocked ear canals, aural discharge, pain and foreign bodies within the ear canal. We are usually able to offer an appointment within 72 hours.
